Private Pilot License

Private Pilots can fly an airplane and carry passengers and baggage during the day or night as well make "cross-country" flights to other airports. Private Pilots can also share operating expenses equally with passengers but they may not fly for "compensation or hire." The pilot certificate is sent to you by the FAA upon satisfactory completion of your training program, a knowledge test, and a practical test.

Barring any weather delays or other unforeseen factors, it should take approximately 16 to 20 weeks to complete flying 2 to 4 lessons per week.  Please note that my instruction is given primarily on weekends and designed specifically for clients with limited free time during the week. In order to maintain some level of scheduling flexibility between students, I also limit myself to no more than three full-time students at any given time.

Please email or call me (919-868-3781) me to discuss your options.
